Research funding and services
The Finnish funding system for researchers and research groups is exceptionally extensive. In addition to the funding and grant programmes of the Academy of Finland and the European Union, funding is also provided by the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES), The Centre for International Mobility (CIMO), universities and corporations.
The versatility of the funding system supports high-quality scientific research, development opportunities for young researchers, and international mobility and cooperation among researchers.
- The Project and Innovation Services unit of the University of Turku supports research eligible for funding and provides guidance for applying for funding.
