Project and Innovation Services
The Project and Innovation Services Unit offers support services for the University's contract research and other activities funded externally.
One of the tasks of the Unit is to promote external research funding by informing the academic staff about research funding sources and giving assistance during the application procedure.
Project and Innovation Services assists the academic staff by various support services:
- research funding information
- research funding database TURA, quarterly newsletters, other information delivery
- grant applications
- e.g. EU framework programmes and structural funds, Tekes (National Technology Agency of Finland)
- project contracts
- protection and exploitation of intellectual property
The network of Departmental Contact Persons helps to distribute information within Departments on research funding opportunities, seminars, jobs, documents and other relevant information for research projects.
