National FINDOS Network

Finnish Doctoral Program in Oral Sciences (FINDOS) is a functional network between the research groups and doctoral education at the four dental schools in Finland (Universities of Helsinki, Eastern-FinlandOulu and Turku) . FINDOS brings together preclinical and clinical researchers nationwide with a common interest in oral sciences. This encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas, and improves the possibilities for translational Dental research. FINDOS collaborates actively with the Swedish National Clinical Research School in Dental Medicine as well as with other national and international partners.

FINDOS provides systematic, well supervised and high-standard doctoral training in the field of Oral Sciences. After four years of fulltime studies, the doctoral candidates will graduate with a doctoral degree. FINDOS organises e.g. seminars, summer schools and annual meetings for the students and supervisors. Both national and international networking is encouraged. The ambition of the FINDOS network is to benefit also post-docs and already established researchers.
