BMU-MID ­– Mobilities for Innovation and Development
The BMU-MID consortium was is an academic mobility programme consisting of 20 partner institutions from Europe and Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine.
BMU-MID was coordinated by University of Turku and funded within the Action 2 - Strand 1 - Erasmus Mundus Partnerships (EMA2 - former External Cooperation Window), a co-operation and mobility scheme launched by Europe Aid Cooperation Office and  implemented by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency.
The BMU-MID project aimed successfully to enhance international cooperation in the field of higher education by awarding scholarships for students and university staff in partner universities. Academic opportunities for studies, research and professional development were available to citizens of EU countries to BMU countries, and Belarusians, Moldovians and Ukrainians to European partner universities.
