How to Receive the Grant

1. Contact the Host University in order to take care of official invitation (a copy of your passport might be requested), get enrolled, take care of your studies studies and arrange your housing. Ask your Host University for your arrival and departure dates.

2. Apply for visa as soon as you have received the Grant Letter, an invitation letter or official acceptance letter and insurance certificate. The Host University will issue an official acceptance letter or an official invitation. Certificates on grant awarding are provided to grantees by the European Universities. Save the receipt, as costs of one standard visa will be reimbursed to you once your mobility period has ended. The residence permit costs will not be covered.

3. Arrange your travel through the Coordinator or buy the tickets yourself. Remember to keep all tickets and boarding passes safe. You will need them for reporting. For the pre-paid airline tickets by the Coordinator, please fill in the form Form for Travel Details (Annex VII). Arrange your travel through the Coordinator or buy the tickets yourself. 4. Once you have arrived at Host University,

  • Open an IBAN bank account (if you do not have one)
  • Take care of all the paper work required for grant payment
  • Take care of the paper work of your travel arrangements: send the original boarding cards to the Coordinator. If you have paid for your travel yourself, please also remember to send the original receipts of tickets for the reimbursement.

5. Report in the end of your mobility. Additional reports are required if your mobility is longer than one year or by the request of University paying your grant.
