Guidelines for Contributors

​Paper presentations

Full conference paper presentations are firmly restricted to 20 minutes. Each session has three (3) presentations. After the presentation 60 minutes are reserved for discussions. All conference rooms are equipped with computers and VGA/HDMI cables for laptops. All presentations should be either in PPT, ODP or PDF format.


A poster is a visual approach to presenting research in order to generate active discussion of the project.

Technical specifications:

  • Poster size: DIN A0
  • We recommended to limit the text to about one-fourth of the poster space
  • Use visual elements (graphs, photographs, schematics, maps, etc.) to tell your story
  • Present numerical data in the form of graphs
  • Keep the texts brief

Posters are presented in the poster session & networking village in the vestibule area. Each poster presenter is  provided with a pin-wall, a desk, and a power plug. Free WiFi is available.

Stands in the poster village have to be ready no later that 19 Ocotber 2017 at 12 o'clock.

Pre-conference Workshops

Workshops are teaching and learning arrangements, that should be structured to produce active participation in learning. Workshops should provide the participants with the opportunity to practice skills and receive feedback.

A pre-conference workshop consists of three (3) teaching hours. The workshop organizers are solely responsible for the content of the workshop and are expected to carry out the workshop independently.

The conference organizers provide workshops with suitable seminar rooms equipped with video projectors, a classroom computer, and VGA/HDMI cables for laptops.
