Fibre-reinforced Composite Reserach Group


  • Research group focuses of studying non-metallic biomaterials, which are utilized in regenerative and reconstructive medicine and dentistry.

  •  Special emphasis and expertise is in adhesion and attachment of synthetic materials and natural tissues to the biomaterial substrate. 

  •  Selectively dissolvable interpenetration polymer network (IPN), fibre-reinforced composite, zirconia ceramic substrates have been the focus of research. 

  •  Bioactive glass with fibre-reinforced composite is the most commonly used combination of material surfaces in bone applications.
