MID - Mobilities for Innovation and Development

The MID consortium was an academic mobility programme consisting of 20 partner institutions from Europe, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia. It ended in July 2016.
MID was coordinated by University of Turku and funded within the Action 2 - Strand 1 - Erasmus Mundus Partnerships (EMA2 - former External Cooperation Window), a co-operation and mobility scheme launched by Europe Aid Cooperation Office and  implemented by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency.
The MID project aimed successfully to enhance international cooperation in the field of higher education by awarding scholarships for students, researchers and university staff in partner universities. Academic opportunities for studies, research and professional development were available to citizens of EU countries to Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia, and Belarusians, Moldovans, Ukrainians, Georgians and Armenians to European partner universities.
