Work related accidents
Accidents which have happened at work or during a work related circumstance, causing bodily injury or illness, are considered a work related or occupational accident. Incidents which may happen in a work related situation outside the university are also considered a work related accident whether it be a local or while on a business trip.
All workers of the State, regardless of the nature and duration of the work relationship, have insurance coverage in case of a work related injury or illness.
In the event of an occupational accident, a report must be made and a leave of absence form due to accident and sick leave must be filled out.
