Doctor visits during working hours
Seeing a medical professional during working hours has been enacted in the State working hours contract (3 §). An employee may see a doctor or nurse during working hours in the following cases:
- seeing a doctor or nurse during reception hours
- examinations concerning the finding and treatment of an illness
- going to a maternity clinic
- physical examinations for occupational health care
Using health care other than Medivire must be done on the employee's own time or during an employee's "sliding hours" if available. An employee may also see a doctor during working hours only if he/she can make up the hours at a later time.
