Application procedure for Exchange Students
APPLICATION DEADLINES
15 April (for the Autumn Semester/Academic Year) for exchange programmes outside of EU and EEA countries.
31 May (for theAutumn Semester/Academic Year) for ERASMUS and other exchange programmes within EU and EEA countries.
15 October (for the Spring Semester) for exchange programmes outside of EU and EEA countries.
1 November (for the Spring Semester) for ERASMUS and other exchange programmes within EU and EEA countries.
Exchange students should fill in an electronic application form
- If there is a formal exchange agreement between your home university and the University of Turku, fill in the electronic application form and follow the instructions for sending the required enclosures. Please note that you have to write your study plan in the application form! Otherwise your application will not be processed.
- Before filling in the application form please check the web page of the subject/department/faculty/non-degree programme. The courses you choose and their course codes must be filled into the application form. If you cannot find the course information on the Internet please contact directly to the Departmental Contact Person.
- However, since the course information for the next Academic Year is mostly not available, yet, you should use the current information. This means that this study plan is preliminary. You will be able to make changes to your ECTS Learning Agreement upon your arrival in Turku.
- north2north applicants should first fill in the n2n programme application form and follow the deadlines of the n2n programme.
- Erasmus Mundus Action II (Triple I, JoinEU-SEE, MAHEVA, EXPERTS, CENTAURI and BMU) applicants should first fill in the Programme's own application form and follow the deadlines of the Programme.
Information about sending the required enclosures by post
After submitting the electronic Application Form applicants should send at least their Transcript of Records and Language Assessment Sheet to the International Office by post. Please see detailed information in the link above.
