Admission to Master's Degree Programmes
The University of Turku Master's Degree Programmes accept applications for the autumn term only. Please check the Master's Degree Programmes by faculty section of this website for the exact deadline date for applying to a particular programme.
Who is eligible to apply?
To be granted admission, the applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) on a relevant field to the programme they are applying for. This degree should correspond to at least 180 ECTS (European credits) or to three years of full-time study. It should be awarded by a full university (i.e. an institution of higher education offering a doctorate). For more information, see the website of the programme you are applying for.
Language requirements
All applicants must prove their knowledge of the English language when applying for an English-language Master's Degree Programme. Applicants can indicate their language skills by taking an internationally recognised English language test (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE: approved minimum scores are specified below). In addition to language tests, individual programmes may accept other proof of the applicant's language skills.
NB! If you are planning to apply for a Master's Degree Programme, you should sign up for the language test well in advance! Please see the information provided by the test organisers on www.ets.org/toefl and www.ielts.org for available testing dates in your country.

Applicants must also see that the test results should reach the University Admissions Finland office by the application deadline. Language tests taken more than two years prior to application will not be accepted.

90 points from the internet-based test
