FEES AND THE MODULES OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL 2011

All modules include teaching and teaching material, support of the Summer School staff, most of the Social Programme, key to the computer class, free internet access on campus and housing facilities and access to the libraries.  In addition, if the accommodation is chosen: a starting package (e.g. some household utensils), a deposit, administration fee for the housing and departure cleaning is included. If you do not need an accommodation you can choose a module without one.

All  modules include 100 € Registration fee which will not be reimbursed.

Participants will be invoiced once their application has been processed, students have confirmed their course choices and student selection has been completed.

Part of the social programme is included in the course fee. The participants are responsible for their travel expenses as well as accommodation (if not chosen the accommodation in a module), insurance, visa and living costs while in Turku e.g. meals are not included (few exceptions e.g. orientation day and farewell dinner).

Please notice that if you do not choose a module with an organized accommodation you will need to find accommodation by yourself. However, we are prepared to help you in a certain extent. 

Accommodation is organised in student housing, where each participant has a room and bathroom/shower on his/her own, but kitchen is shared. The location of the housing is next to the university campus. A starting package includes a pillow, a blanket, curtains, a cooking pot, a sharp cutting knife, a dinner plate, a soup plate, a glass, a mug, cooking items (spatula or ladle), a knife, a fork, a spoon, a teaspoon, and a can opener.
