Financing of studies - postgraduate students
The University of Turku itself cannot offer financial assistance or student-specific job opportunities. For the most part, all students, both Finnish and international, are expected to finance their cost of living themselves.
International students who are registered as attending may apply for government funded study grants and scholarships from the University of Turku's funds provided that they meet certain requirements. Applications for these funds are not applicable to those who are not current and attending students in the university register. Information about these grants can be found on www.utu.fi/en/studying/students/degree/financing/tygrants.html
Degree students participating in the Triple I or Join EU-SEE programme are entitled to EM ECW grant.

State financial aid for postgraduate students
State financial aid is available to non-Finnish international students who have a permanent status residency in Finland based on a reason other than studying. A full description of the right to receive student financial aid is available on the website of the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (KELA).
