Erasmus exchange

Erasmus programmes are for students leaving for exchange in Europe. Student mobility is encouraged with Erasmus study grants.

The Erasmus programme began in 1987 and Finnish universities entered the programme in 1991. Information about the 20 year anniversary and the latest news about the Erasmus programme are availible on the European Commission's webpages.

The basic requirement for an Erasmus exchange, as for any exchange programme, is that completed studies abroad must be fully creditable towards your degree, which is being done at the University of Turku. By using ECTS credits, completed studies may be tranferred from one university to the other.
