Tutor system
Once accepted to the university you will receive contact information about your personal tutor by email. A personal tutor system engages voluntary and trained Finnish students to help you with the practical matters and to guide you through the student life in Turku. Tutors have each about 3 exchange students.
Tutors are finnish students who are interested in foreign cultures and languages. They want you to get off to a smooth start in your studies and stay in Finland!
Please inform your tutor about your arrival day, time and place as soon as possible so that she/he can make arrangements to meet you upon your arrival. You will receive email with your personal link to inform your arrival time. Please note also, that it is not always possible for the tutor to come and meet you the same day you arrive in Turku. Tutors are also students with exams and other responsibilities and they might not be available as ofter as the exchange students wishes.
