The exchange mailing list
The International Office has an e-mail list which purpose is to inform you about academic matters: new courses, changes in courses, seminars, practical matters related to studies and so on. However you should remember to remove yourself from the list before leaving Turku (instructions below).
HOW TO JOIN
The International Office will add exchange students on the list automatically before your arrival to Turku, only if you have given the permission on the electronic application form. If you did not give the permissions, you can subscribe to the Exchange mailing list yourself online by giving your information at: https://lists.utu.fi/mailman/listinfo/exchange.
BASIC RULES
There are hundreds of members on the list and therefore we would like to remind you of some basic rules about the Exchange mailing list:
All messages are sent by the University of Turku staff, an International Officer or teacher, or university cooperative organisations e.g. the Student Union.
The Exchange e-mail list is not to be used as a personal discussion forum or noticeboard: students and persons outside authorised university staff are not able to send messages to the list. Please note that you should never "reply all" to a message because it will be sent to all the members on the list.
If you need to reply to a message or ask for more information, there will usually be a contact person mentioned in the message.
HOW TO EDIT AND UNSUBSCRIBE
When you leave Finland and you want unsubscribe from the mailing list or if you need to edit your information, please enter your e-mail address under "Exchange Subscribers" at https://lists.utu.fi/mailman/listinfo/exchange. (Choose the language on the right).
