The University of Turku offers several printed and online guides to help international students in various practical and academic matters while studying in Finland

 

  • Information Guide for Students 2011-2012
    The Information Guide contains general information about academic and administrative matters at the University of Turku. This guide also has information of students' legal rights as well as the university regulations approved by the Board.

 

  • Guide for Exchange Students 2012-2013
    This Guide for Exchange Students contains information on courses and programmes for incoming exchange students as well as requirements for application and how to apply to the University of Turku.

 

  • Study Compendium for Master's Degree Students
    The Study Compendium for Master's Degree Students is a condensed English version of the Finnish-language Study Guides (opinto-opas) of the individual faculties of the University of Turku. The information given contains an overview of the main points of the degree structure and syllabi of the Master's degree programmes for international students as well as the thesis and graduating at each faculty.

 

  • Survival Guide for International Students and Scholars
    The Survival Guide is a compact and consise booklet of practical information about living in Turku. This guide contains an abundance of information about e.g. working and taxes, residence, health care, shopping, transportation and student organisations.
