Transcript of Study Records
The transcript of study records, which can be printed from the University's study register opsu, lists all the results for completed study units and can be used by the student e.g. when applying for study aid, for a job or the renewal of a student residence permit. The most convenient way to verify the results saved in the study register is via e-mail. In the same manner it is also possible to obtain forms for applying e.g. for study aid and scholarships granted by the University of Turku, or financial aid for exchange students leaving abroad.
Transcript in Finnish or English
Transcript is available in web and pdf-form from the University's internal network system NettiOpsu.
Printed transcript
The transcript is also available as a printed version. These official transcripts, which are signed and stamped, are available from the respective offices of the departments or the faculties. Transcripts are also available from the Student and Admission Services Office, where they may be printed during regular reception hours. The transcript will be handed to the student personally, provided that he/she can show proper identity. A proxy must present a letter of attorney. Requests for unnecessary transcripts, e.g. for verifying the result of a single exam, should be avoided.
Exam results can be obtained from the University's internal network system Wentti.
Transcripts of study records can also be copied.
Having the transcripts sent home by mail
Transcripts can be sent to a student's home address if requested. Students can call the study register at the Student and Admission Services (333 6147, 333 6149) or send an email to reg-old[at]lists.utu.fi.
Final Transcript for Exchange Students
Credits are only given if the courses are fully completed. This means that the student must finish all the assignments of the given course. Incomplete or failed courses will not be registered or shown in the study transcript.
Please note that if the student is accepted to study at the University of Turku for the whole academic year, the student's right to study is valid until 31 July. For the autumn semester the right to study is valid until 31 December. The marks of the courses must be recorded in the student's transcript before this date. Therefore, it is very important that the student finishes all of his or her work before leaving Finland. It usually takes two weeks to get the results of the exams. However, summertime may not follow the rule.
The official final transcript will be sent to the student or to the student's home university after the student has left the country. In order to receive the final transcript the student must leave a filled student passport at the Interntational Office and fill in the departure form.
The international advisors will send the final transcripts to students as soon as possible. Please contact international[at]utu.fi if you need more information.
