Brahea Centre at the University of Turku
Brahea Centre has an essential role in the competitiveness of the whole university. Brahea Centre improves the societal effect of research results, the realization of the principle of lifelong learning and the university’s interaction with its operational environment.
Brahea Centre is an independent unit at the University of Turku and it consists of four sub-units: Brahea Development, Centre for Maritime Studies, Open University and Technology Research Center.
The key operational areas of Brahea Centre are food industry, innovation and business, maritime cluster, and communication and information technology. In addition to education in these subjects, the unit will profile as a developer of interactive learning environments.
