Centre for Maritime Studies in the European Maritime Day
The Centre for Maritime Studies will be one of the 30 exhibitors setting up their booths in the exhibition - Networking Village - of the European Maritime Day. It will be an ideal place to meet, exchange experiences, and gain new information on maritime issues and actors. You can learn more about our ongoing projects and coming events by visiting our booth.

The project EnviSuM lead by CMS will organize together with the Maritime Development Center of Europe a Stakeholder Workshop on Technical Efficiency and Socio-Economic Impacts of Clean Shipping Solutions. The workshop calls for discussion on the cost-benefit balance of the SECA regulations. It will address the socio-economic, heath and environmental effects of the SECA regulation, and seek to explore the needs of the maritime businesses and industry when making clean shipping investments decisions. The workshop will be moderated by Mr. Jan Boyesen from the Maritime Development Center of Europe, and Ms. Sari Repka, EnviSuM Project Coordinator, will be one of the workshop speakers. The workshop takes place on 18 May.

The theme for this year's European Maritime Day is Investing in blue growth - smart and sustainable solutions and it takes place in Logomo Conference Centre in Turku, Finland.
