Courses at the Faculty of Education

The courses offered for exchange students are presented in the electronic Curriculum for Master's Degree Programme in Education and Learning (EdLEarn). Scroll the page down to see the list of courses availabe for exhange students.

Do pay attention to the fact that in some cases the grading is done on a pass-fail -scale and it is not possible to get a numerical grade. The grading scale for each course is explained in the course description.

Exchange student applying to the Faculty of Education are expected to have at least 2 years of academic studies in Education before their exchange period begins.

Do take into consideration that if you choose courses outside the Faculty of Education the course timetables might overlap. In such cases you might have to drop some of the courses.

NB! The School Experience is open only to the exchange students of the Faculty of Education who study to become teachers.

There is no fixed schedule for the hours to be done at school for the School Experience. The exchange student agrees with the teacher of the class or teachers of different classes when to do the hours required for the School Experience. 

Teaching timetable


​The timetables are announced latest 15th of August for the autumn semester and latest 15th of December for the spring semester on this page. The schedule is also marked in the course description in the Curriculum.

Some courses are reserved only EdLearn Degree students, the exchange students can check which course are available from the Courses for exhange students -list.

Any changes in the teaching timetable will be notified on the mailing list. Exchange students will be added to this list at the beginning of the semester.
