At the Pori campus, the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Turku offers degree programmes in Cultural Production and Landscape Studies with digital culture, landscape or cultural heritage studies as the major subjects.
The Turku School of Economics offers Master’s degree and post-graduate degree studies at the Pori unit. There are 600 degree students in the unit and about 100 new students are admitted each year.
In addition, the Environmental Research and Regional Development Unit of the Centre of Maritime Studies and a teaching health centre of the Faculty of Medicine also operate at Pori.
The Pori units of the University of Turku are part of the University Consortium of Pori, which is a network of 3 800 students, 180 experts and four universities operating in a multi-disciplinary scientific and artistic environment. The universities that are part of the consortium are the University of Turku, Aalto University, the Tampere University of Technology and the University of Tampere.
