​The University of Turku has coordinated the following Erasmus Mundus Action 2 (EMA2) mobility projects:

Mobility between Russia and Europe:

 
Aurora II is ongoing until July  2017, no new  calls for applications.
 
The project finished in 2016. 
 
Triple I - Integration, Interaction and Institutions

Mobility between Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan and Europe:

The project finished in 2016.
 
BMU-MID - Mobilities for Innovation and Development

The University of Turku has been an active partner in the following projects:

EXPERTS SUSTAIN
Exchange by Promoting Quality Education, Research and Training in South and South East Asia.  Mobility from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Maledives, Nepal, Pakistan, The Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand towards and from Europe. 
 
WEBB - Whole Europe Beyond Borders offered scholarships for students, researchers and university staff to study, research, work or teach abroad in one of the partner Universities in the EU countries, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
 
Under the EULALinks project the University of Turku (UTU) received students, researchers and staff from Argentina, Chole, Colombia, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua.
 
University of Turku was a partner of the PANACEA project, coordinated by Université Montpellier 2, France. Under PANACEA  University of Turku received students, researc hers and staff from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam and China.
 
BMU
BMU included EU countries and Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine. The BMU consortium was continued in EMA2 projects BMU-MID and MID.
 
CENTAURI
Project countries were EU countries and Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
 
JoinEU-SEE included EU and Western Balkan countries: Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania.
 
MAHEVA
Mobilities were implemented with grantees from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Philippines.
