Organisation of Quality Assurance at University Level
Vice Rector Pirjo Nuutila is in charge of the quality system at university level. The Quality Manager is Anu Mäkelä and her duties include co-ordination of the University’s quality work and preparation of the Quality System.
In addition, the Rector has appointed a Quality Assurance Steering Group for the University. The task of the Steering Group is to monitor the implementation of the University’s quality assurance and put forward instructions and recommendations for the development of the quality work. Quality Manager is the secretary for the group.
Faculties and Departments
In the Faculties, the quality assurance work is led by the Dean and in the Departments by the Head of Department. The Faculties and Departments have appointed Quality Contact Persons who are in charge of the practical implementation of quality assurance.
