Dr. Anne Dahlman is Honors Program Director and Professor in the Department of Educational Studies: K-12 and Secondary Programs at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her research interests include for example language and culturally inclusive teaching and learning, equity in education and development of modern and responsive learning environments. The objective of the visit is to develop mutually beneficial research and development collaboration between the universities. As part of Dr. Dahlman's visit, the Brahea Centre is also organising several educational events and workshops that are open for all staff members. More information and registration links attached.

Dr. Dahlman is Honors Program Director and Professor in the Department of Educational Studies: K-12 and Secondary Programs at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has twenty-one years of experience in higher education, having taught in two-year, four-year, and doctoral institutions in four states in the U.S., and internationally. Dr. Dahlman’s research interests focus on excellence in education, particularly equity in education and on ways to create access to exceptional educational opportunities for all students, including students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Dr. Dahlman has served in multiple leadership roles across the university campus having worked as a program director and department chair before her current post as the university-wide Honors Program Director.
