Business Talent Academy
The BTA programme increases abilities to strategic thinking, futures thinking and innovativeness as well as develops managerial and interactive skills.

Key benefits come from the cooperation between the participating companies and participant networking that creates new points of view to develop own work and organisation.

The programme consists of:

  • initial inquiry (online), individual initial interviews (f-to-f or Skype) and company-specific info sessions with participants
  • 11 classroom days (in 6 modules), including company visits
  • selected readings
  • assignments linked to one’s own work and the development of the company
  • peer mentoring
  • individual development report (academic tutor and other support provided)

Learning methods are interactive and always linked to the practical use of the learned skills in one’s own work and in the company!

Participants in the BTA Programme earn ECTS credits that can later be used to compensate parts of the JOKO- and EMBA Turku programmes.


Each BTA group consists of 4-7 companies with 1-4 participants from each company

In BTA 2017 group, which graduated in October 2017, the participating companies were: OP Group, Oras Group, Elisa Oyj, Neste Jacobs and PerkinElmer.
