BMU - Mobilities for Innovation and Development

The BMU-MID consortium was launched in 2011. During the academic years 2012-2015 project awards 203 grantes to students, reseachers and staff for visits in partner universities. Study and research opportunities are available both for nationals of European Union countires and Belarussians, Molovans and Ukrainians. In addition, mobility scheme is open to administrative staff.

The mobility flows aim to enchace institutional development of home and host universities.  Host Universities benefit academically from exchange of experience and good practices in pedagogy and research. In addition, Host and Home Universities receive new ideas on how to broaden the curricula and courses offered for students. The students and staff in Host and Home Universities benefit from the mobility scheme as they come into contact with people from other linguistic and cultural environment.

Through the mobility scheme the society is enriched by open-minded and internationally experienced academics and students. This will also increase links between Europe, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine in all spheres of society thus contributing to cultural dialogue and mutual understanding.
