Centre for Environmental Research of the University of Turku

The Centre for Environmental Research of the University of Turku, CERUT, is one of the Special Units of the University. Special Units enable the construction of multidisciplined research environments and form an important bridge from the perspectives of both regional influence and higher learning co-operation. CERUT administrates the University Research Stations plus the Aerobiology Unit. Its main function is to support and promote multidisciplinary environmental research and education.

CERUT provides supporting services for teaching and research, runs externally funded projects in its sphere of operations in collaboration with University Departments, plus accounts for societal connections in their spheres of influence. The Unit is headed by a Board and a Director. The advisory council desings long term objectives of the unit.
