Does your work involve the inspection and interpretation of large sets of images? And have you wondered how to convey these skills to younger generations or new employees? If the answer is yes, the Afternoon for the Development of Teaching (Friday, 10.2.23) is intended especially for you.


The programme:


12.15-12.45: Dr. Bas de Leng, project coordinator: Welcoming to the seminar & presentation of the main outcomes of the cLovid project
12.45-13.45: Keynote speech (Dr. Samuel Edelbring, Örebro University): Students’ collaboration in technology-enhanced learning. Examples and lessons learned from health professions education
13.45-14.00: Break with refreshments
14.00-14.30: Parallel hands-on workshops
a) for the teaching of microscopy (e.g. pathology, histology)
b) for the teaching of radiology
14.30-15.30: Plenary session: addressing practical and pedagogical issues in adopting the digital tools and resources


The seminar is the final seminar of the EU-funded cLovid project (2021-2023). The main goals of the project ”Collaborative learning of Viewing and Decision-making skills” (cLovid) were to deliver the technical conditions necessary for the online teaching of histology incorporating active and collaborative student activities and to carry out a set of teaching experiments in the context of medical education (local, national & international level).
