Prof. Antonio Zadra: Somnambulism and sleep terrors

January Friday 17th, in PUB3 at 13.15-14.30, Prof. Antonio Zadra will give a public talk titled: Somnambulism and sleep terrors: Clinical considerations and new pathophysiological perspectives.

Antonio Zadra, PhD, is professor of psychology at the Université de Montréal, Canada. He is the director of the university’s Dream Research Laboratory and leads a research group investigating NREM sleep parasomnias at the Hôpital du Sacé-Coeur’s Center for Advanced Research in Sleep Medicine (CARSM). His research program centres around the quantification of dream content in normal and clinical populations, on the assessment, correlates and treatment of dream-related disorders, and on the pathophysiology of NREM sleep parasomnias with a focus on somnambulism.
