Maailman bioetiikkapäivä järjestetään ICB yksiköissä maailmanlaajuisesti yhteisellä teemalla. Tänä vuonna globaali teema on Social Responsibility and Health ja seminaarimme otsikko on Ethical Aspects of Solidarity and Co-operation in International Crises, jossa käsittelemme näitä teemoja sotien, terveydenhuollon ja ilmastonmuutoksen kriiseissä.

International Chair in Bioethics (ICB) unit Finland is organising an online seminar with ICB units from Sweden and Denmark in the occasion of World Bioethics Day on October 19, at 13.00-15.00 EET.
World Bioethics Day is organised by ICB units throughout the world. The global theme for this year is Social Responsibility and Health. Our seminar Ethical Aspects of Solidarity and Co-operation in International Crises discusses these issues in the context of wars, health care crises and climate change.

What is the World Bioethics Day? International Chair in Bioethics is a global network promoting importance of bioethical issues and it organizes World Bioethics Day for the seventh time in all its units around the world. This year the global theme is Social Responsibility and Health. The aim of the day is to acknowledge the importance of bioethical questions and to promote activities that may enable solutions. The International Chair in Bioethics network has 259 units in 64 different countries.
