Quantum Library will be Closed Thu March 2nd, 2023

As previously announced, Turku University Library will close its Quantum Library facilities. Printed materials in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Engineering will be transferred to Teutori Library.

The Quantum library, which serves the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Technology, moves to Teutori, where space has been freed up after the History, Culture and Art Studies Library moved to Arcanum. There is already a Medical Library in Teutori.  

  • The last day Quantum library is open is on Thursday March 2nd.
  • Course books are moved first to Teutori library, and during their move Teutori library is closed from March 7th to March 8th.  
  • Teutori library opens again on March 9th, when the course books for Medicine, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Engineering are available again in Teutori library.  

The rest of the Quantum library collections will be moved to Teutori library during March. During the move, other than course books, the general collections for Medicine, as well as the collections from Quantum Library are available on a limited basis. You can request resources, but there will be a delay in handling the requests.
