The next possibility to apply for a right to study for a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Education in September 2-30, 2013. Application rounds are organized twice a year.
Doctoral degrees in the
Faculty of Education are Doctor of Philosophy (Education), Licentiate of
Philosophy (Education) and Doctor of Philosophy. Doctoral training at the Faculty of Education aims at preparing the
students for a career in research, teaching or other demanding tasks of
expertise.
Doctoral Candidate at the Faculty of Education will conduct his/her research at one of the two doctoral programmes of the University of Turku Graduate School (UTUGS) administered by the Faculty of Education, KEVEKO or OPPI. The doctoral degree consists of a doctoral dissertation (180 ECTS) and 60 ECTS of other studies.
