Apply now to the “Transgenerational Ageing & Gendered Life-Cycle Approach” Summer School

EC2U will organise a Summer School in Transgenerational Aging & Gendered Life-Cycle Approach on from the 18th to 25th September. Students may now apply participation and mobilities grants to the Summer School organised by University of Pavia, Italy. The call is open until 17th of July at 12:00 CET.

Summer school is part of the EC2U’s Good Health and Well-Being work package. It will gather students, professors and experts from the 7 Universities partners of the EC2U multicultural and multilingual Alliance.

Summer School will give students the opportunity to explore and learn how to live and age in a new, fun, and healthy way through ground-breaking workshops and lectures, team building and sports activities.

To the summer school can apply students from each of the universities of the EC2U Alliance, interested in the thematics of the Summer School and willing to interact with others in a multicultural environment.

Students should have a good knowledge of English and familiarity with at least one of the following areas:

  • Biology
  • Anatomy Physiology
  • Psychology
  • Nutrition
  • Sport
  • Physical Therapy
  • Community/Public Health,
  • Mental Health
  • Reproductive and Sexual Health
  • Geriatric Health

Students will get 3 ECTS credits upon successfully passing the final evaluation and according to national regulations.

Travel and subsistence will be entirely granted by EC2U funds, according to the local Universities’ rules. The course will be considered completed and funded only if the participants will attend the full programme of the 6 training days.

The mobility grant includes Travel + Subsistence for 8 days; six full days of training and two days of travelling, immediately before and after the beginning and finishing date of the course. Total amount of the grant is 400 euros per travel plus 1040 euros per subsistence, all together 1.440, 00 euros.

The mobility grant is paid by the sending educational institution in accordance with internal rules and schedules (see instructions on intrasite + LINK).

The selection of the participants will be made by a joint Committee established within the partnership.

The following criteria will be taken into consideration:

  • Knowledge biology anatomy physiology psychology, nutrition sport/rehabilitation, Community/public health, mental health, reproductive and sexual health, geriatric health, human development, sports, welfare, and other social sciences
  • Motivation shown

In case of equal evaluation between two candidates, the Evaluation Commission reserves the right to give priority to those applications which add to inclusion and diversity in terms of gender balance, year of study, different background.
