Award Grant for Scientific Research in Applied Materials Chemistry (application period 14.8.-27.8.2024)

The Department of Chemistry awards a grant for scientific research. The grant is funded by the Real Estate Foundation.

An applicant needs to have well familiarised him/herself with research in organic semiconductor materials as well as 2D materials and their characterization and application in either, energy devices or as catalysts. Experience from electrochemistry is appreciated. The applicant needs to hold a PhD degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.  

The grant is for 1.9.2024 – 31.8.2025.

The payment of the grant will be on monthly basis. The monthly sum is 2600 € and it will be paid during the grant period. A grant recipient must not, be employed by the University of Turku.

Decision on the grant will be made by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Pasi Virta on Professor Carita Kvarnström’s proposal at the end of August 2024.
