Coronavirus Infection at Turun normaalikoulu Upper Secondary School – Distance Learning at Upper Secondary School for the Rest of the Week

A person has been confirmed to have a coronavirus infection at Turun normaalikoulu upper secondary school at Varissuo.

People might have been exposed to the coronavirus at the upper secondary school’s facilities on Thursday, 13 August and on Friday, 14 August. The possible exposures will be investigated together with the authorities responsible for communicable diseases. The municipality’s authorities will contact everyone who was exposed to the virus and they will be given instructions on quarantine.

Turun normaalikoulu upper secondary school will provide distance education on this week (week 34) from Wednesday to Friday. Possible further measures will be decided on Friday with the responsible authorities. This applies to both the national upper secondary school and the international IB school. The comprehensive school and international school classes 1–9 attend school normally.

Turun normaalikoulu school is the teacher training school of the University of Turku.
