University of Turku (International Business, Futures Studies, Faculty of Law) and Åbo Akademi University (international marketing) have received significant competitive funding from the Academy of Finland (link). In this four-year project researchers investigate what sustainable, inclusive and meaningful life and work means for globally mobile individuals and provide advice on how Finland as a country could develop into a cosmoscape, i.e. a society which makes cosmopolitan engagement possible and enables the development of cosmopolitan self. More information on the project, please see the project website (link).

At Turku School of Economics the core team of the project includes the international business faculty members (pictured right to left) postdoctoral researcher Johanna Raitis, professor Niina Nummela, associate professor Eriikka Paavilainen-Mäntymäki and postdoctoral researcher Riikka Harikkala-Laihinen.
