11.10.2024

Are you a biosciences MSc student and wondering from where to find a lab where to do your MSc thesis?
Are you running a life-science lab and looking for MSc students to join your group?
Come to the MSc Thesis Project Expo and get hooked up!

MSc Thesis Project Expo is a networking event for bioscience related MSc students and for research groups to meet and get to know one another. The event is intended for both domestic and international bioscience related MSc degree students from both University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University, and it replaces the previous research group presentation events.

This is a great opportunity to get visibility for a research group among students, as well as to recruit new master’s degree students!

MSc Thesis Project Expo: Meet the Research Groups
Wednesday 4 December 2024 at 9.00-11.00
in Cave auditorium, Visitor Centre Joki

Why for students

If you are looking for a lab where to do your MSc thesis work, come to the expo, scout your possibilities and talk to different research group members. Also, UTU and ÅAU recruitment services will be there on-site to share their tips on how to write a successful CV, how to apply for positions and how to approach people professionally.

Information from all research groups participating to the expo is shared on a Moodle-site. No registration is needed from the students, just show up!

Why for research groups

Here students from various biosciences backgrounds will get to know your project(s) and can network with a representative of your group. Get visibility to your group and be sure to recruit the best students!

The event is organized as a poster exhibition, only one poster (vertical A0) per PI. Register to the event only if you have the possibility to take a MSc thesis student in the upcoming year. There is place for the first 50 research groups.

Register your research group to the event at latest 18 November 2024
