Professor Anne Kumpula will continue as a dean of the faculty of law for the term 1 August—31 December 2019

Beginning his term of office as the Rector at the beginning of August, Jukka Kola has appointed the vice rectors and deans for the term 1 August—31 December 2019.

According to the Rules of Procedure, the University Board is consulted on the number of vice rectors, and, before appointing, the chair of the University Board. As for the deans, the faculty councils and the chair of the University Board are consulted.

Professor Riitta Pyykkö continues as the Vice Rector responsible for education and the development of educational structures and Professor Kalle-Antti Suominen as the Vice Rector responsible for the development of research and research prerequisites. When necessary, the Rector will be substituted by Pyykkö.
