Professor Javier Arias Varona visits the Faculty of Law

Professor of Commercial Law Javier Arias Varona from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, is visiting the Faculty of Law from 19th August to 9th November, 2018. The visit is hosted by Academy Professor Johanna Niemi.
Professor Arias’ main research area is Insolvency Law, but he also works in Corporate Law and some other subjects traditionally assigned to Commercial Law in Spain, for instance Transport Law. During his visit, he will be working on two papers focusing on the Directive Proposal on insolvency of 21/Nov/2016.
