Researcher of the Faculty of Law appointed as visiting professors in the UK and Italy
Faculty of Arts Social Sciences (FASS), The Open University in the UK has appointed professor Anne Alvesalo-Kuusi as a visiting professor for the period of 1.11.2020 – 31.10.2022. The LUISS University in Italy has invited postdoctoral researcher Dhanay Cadillo Chandler as a visiting professor during the spring 2021.
The Visiting Professor status allows Anne Alvesalo-Kuusi to explore co-operation in relation to the Lakitutka project. The aim is also to develop collaboration with emerging areas of criminologically related research across Europe, and to develop collaboration in developing open-learning methods, of which the DigiCampus initiative acts as a good example.
As the visiting professor at the LUISS Dhanay Cadillo Chandler will bring her knowledge about bio-economy, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, pharma innovation and public policy to their students at both Masters and PhD level. The purpose is to develop further collaboration by writing research applications and articles.
