Researcher: please check and report your publication information from the year 2024 by 31 January 2025
Turku University Library imports researchers’ publications into the Current Research Information System (UTUCRIS) year-round from various international and national databases. More than half of the University’s publications are gathered through database searches. Currently, 4,978 publications published in 2024 have been validated, accounting for approximately 79 percent of the annual total.
Instructions on how to check and report missing publications
You can check the current status of your publication information in the UTUCRIS Research Portal:
- Open the UTUCRIS home page at https://research.utu.fi.
- Type your name in the search box.
- Select your name from the search results.
- Your profile page opens, displaying your publications from newest to oldest.
- If you wish to view drafts and publications awaiting validation by the Library, log in to the system. If needed, select “Publications” from the left-hand menu.
Check whether all your publications from 2024 are listed in the system and whether the information is correct.
If any publications are missing, please submit their details via e-form or enter the information directly into UTUCRIS (see instructions in the Library’s UTUCRIS guide). In addition to 2024 publications, you may also report publications from 2023.
Please attach the final, peer-reviewed manuscript for self-archiving.
If a publication is already in UTUCRIS, you can submit the final manuscript for self-archiving via the e-form. In this case, you may write e.g. "XX" in the other form fields.
If your publications are already in UTUCRIS but the information is incorrect or incomplete, please report these to the Library at researchportal@utu.fi.
If your publications are indexed in the source databases used by the Library (Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, Medic, Arto) but are not yet in UTUCRIS, this data will be added during January and February. You do not need to report these publications.
Please note that validation times may be longer than usual in January and February. Researchers are encouraged to inform the Library if their 2023–2024 publications require immediate validation.
