10.12.2012

Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku was ranked third in the Eduniversal Worldwide Business Schools Rankings' category of Excellent Business Schools. In the category, 500 nationally strong business schools with continental links were reviewed.

‒ We have been striving for international recognition. Our placing in this category tells us our work has been fruitful, says Director of the School, Professor Markus Granlund.

Among the ranked Finnish business schools, TSE was placed third after Aalto University School of Economics and Hanken School of Economics.

Based on Peer Assessment

Eduniversal makes its decisions basis on peer assessment, in which the Deans of 1000 business schools in 153 countries vote the actor they recognise as the best in each country.

Eduniversal gives students and academic actors a possibility to review and compare the schools. Business schools are assessed in five different categories according to their international impact and reputation.

The ranking was released in Eduniversal World Convention 2012 held in Peru in October.
