The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Finland, Aleksei Samosuev, gives a lecture in the Business in the Baltic Sea region -course

The purpose of the KV23/TM33 Business in the Baltic Sea region course, organized by the Pan-European Institute, is to provide students with tools for independent assessment of trade and business in the Baltic Sea region and to help them observe the future and development of the region.

The guest lecturers of the Business in the Baltic Sea course are ambassadors, internationally recognized professors as well as trade and foreign policy experts. On Tuesday 3.11. Kari Liuhto, Director of the Pan-European Institute, had the honour of receiving the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Finland, Aleksei Samosuev, who gave a lecture on Belarus's trade policy and trade between Finland and Belarus.

The students received a valuable amount of information on the Belarusian economy and investment opportunities in the country. At the end of the lecture, Samosuev answered the students' questions comprehensively.

The next lectures of the course will deal with trade in the Baltic Sea region from the perspectives of Russia, Denmark, Poland, Norway and Germany, among others. Ambassador Vesa Vasara, Ambassador Kristine Naseniece and Member of Parliament Elina Lepomäki will also lecture at the course.
