The Basics of Research Data Management (BRDM) Course for Young Researchers and Postdocs

BRDM is the ultimate 3 ECTS course dealing with many aspects of research data management, aiming to give you a rock solid base for responsible data management (including open science aspects). The course starts February 26, 2020.

The Basics of Research Data Management (BRDM) Course

During the course you work out your own data management plan (DMP) based on input from academic experts, lawyers/IPR specialists, data protection officer, data librarians, biostatistician, research computing specialists and experts from Finnish Social Science Data Archive.

The course is arranged by the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University jointly, in four tracks:

  • Natural Science (in English)
  • Health Science (in Finnish)
  • Interview (in English)
  • Survey (in Finnish).

The track language marks the language of the research design lectures, most modules available in both English and Finnish.

Seats are limited and the course tracks will be filled in the order of registering, so make sure of your participation by early enrolment.
