17.12.2024
The wish of researchers at the University of Turku to have access to the Covidence programme for systematic reviews has finally come true. The licence is now available to all researchers at the University.
Covidence has been developed specifically to facilitate the workflow of systematic reviews. Among other things, the software helps you to:
- Removing duplicate references from databases
- Monitoring the selection process, covering both the title/context and full text selection phases
- Management of selection and inclusion criteria
- You can define how many reviewers will evaluate each reference and the software will take care of the distribution of references between the reviewers
- The creation of the PRISMA chart
The program works with Single Sign-On (SSO), which makes it easy to use. Here's how to get started:
New users:
- Search Covidence from Volter.
- Go to the Covidence Sign-up page and select "Create Account with SSO". You will be redirected to the University's sign-up page to create a Covidence account.
Those already registered with utu-email:
- Apply for Covidence on Volter.
- Select "Sign in with SSO" and log in with your utu credentials.
- Your previously created account will be linked to your university subscription and you will be able to continue with previous reviews as before.
Covidence provides an efficient solution for managing systematic reviews and greatly streamlines the research process. Now is the perfect time to get started!
