Turku Institute for Advanced Studies Celebrates 10 Years of Cutting Edge Research

​On Friday 8 June, the University of Turku's Institute for Advanced Studies (TIAS; www.utu.fi/tias) will celebrate its tenth anniversary with a public lecture and reception at the Forum Marinum Maritime Centre, Turku. As part of the celebrations Professor Sami Pihlström, Professor of Philosophy of Religion at the University of Helsinki and former Director of Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies, will present a public lecture on "Individual Scholars and Interdisciplinary Networking in an Institute of Advanced Studies Context".

Registration to the event is already closed, but the lecture can be viewed (livestreaming on Friday at 16:00-17:30 and a video afterwards) on Youtube.
