Turku School of Economics Joins UN's Responsibility Initiative

​The objective of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is to develop a new generation of business leaders capable of managing the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st century.

Turku School of Economics is now a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). The mission of the initiative is to further responsible management education, research and thought leadership globally.

The PRME is inspired by the United Nations Global Compact, which is a similar initiative directed towards companies. The objective is to further continuous improvement among management education institutions in order to develop a new generation of business leaders capable of managing the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st century.

By signing the PRME, Turku School of Economics commits to six principles, upon which progress is communicated to other members biannually.

TSE is also involved in the process of establishing the PRME Chapter Nordic with other Nordic institutions. In addition to Turku School of Economics, other Finnish signatories include Aalto University School of Business, Hanken School of Economics, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, and JAMK University of Applied Sciences. There are altogether 509 signatories worldwide.
