University of Turku among the Best 400 in THE World University Rankings

The University of Turku was placed in the 351–400 range in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019. The ranking is the same as in 2018.

In the World University Rankings 2020, altogether 1,400 universities from 92 different countries were ranked. The comparison is based on the success in five main categories including teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook. The University of Turku was most successful in the categories of citations and international outlook.

Of the Finnish universities, the University of Helsinki was ranked highest at 96. The University of Oxford was ranked as the best university in the world. The top ten included universities from the United States and the United Kingdom.
